This site is meant for students taking Data and Culture at Rutgers (syllabus, syllabus bibliography).
In Fall 2022 the course is being offered for the first time, co-taught by me (Andrew Goldstone) and Meredith McGill. I will update it from time to time with pointers to datasets and data-analytic techniques we encounter in class. Perhaps these will be of use in thinking about final projects for the course. At the same time I want to provide some snippets of actual data-wrangling code in R to offer a lead to those students who might want to go further.
The website itself is generated by blogdown using the package’s default Hugo lithium theme modified by Yihui Xie.
